Ian was brought up around, and under boats and from that and watching the exploits of Jacques Cousteau on TV (in black and white) a fascination for diving developed. In 2015 Ian’s son returned from holiday having completed his PADI OW and needed a dive buddy so he grabbed the opportunity to learn to dive in 2015 moving into twinset diving last year. He is committed to protecting the environment and supports the plastic oceans campaign.
Dive Officer: David ‘Doc’ Adey
I started diving as a youngster with mask, snorkel and fins in the Solent and trained as a teenager with BSAC. I had a break training to be a Doctor and retrained in the late 1980’s at Andark, initially with BSAC becoming Advanced Diver/Assistant Instructor. I crossed over to TDI to become a Full Trimix Diver [no separation in those days] and SDI/TDI Instructor in Advanced Nitrox/Decompression procedures and Extended Range. I was a PADI Dive Master for 10 years and became a PADI Instructor, working in several Dive Operations. I’m currently an HSE SCUBA and Surface Supplied Diver, PADI IDC Staff Instructor, PSAI Technical Instructor and BSAC Open Water Instructor. I continue to be a member of the UK Sports Diving Medical Committee. I dive regularly in the UK and I’ve dived worldwide and hope to complete my 2000th Dive this year. I helped to set up Swanwick Divers as the Diving Officer, I’m leading on Open Circuit diving and Diver Development. I’m very interested in Maritime Archaeology and my main interest is Twinset wreck Diving. I want to build a leading Diving Club known for being excellent.
Dive Officer and Events: Nick Ellerington
Just a normal guy, who loves a little adventure. From the middle of the desert, to the depth’s of the seas. Let’s go there safely, so we can tell everyone about it.

Graeme began diving in 1980 and after a long ‘dry’ spell returned to the water in his forties. He enjoys recreational and technical diving and is fortunate to have dived some of the worlds top dive sites. Graeme is an active PADI Staff and Tec Deep Instructor and PSAI Expedition Trimix diver.
Dive Manager: James Ziemann
James is one of our dive managers. He is a PADI Divemaster and IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix diver. He has dived all over the world, including the Philippines, Hong Kong, the Maldives and the Red Sea, but is very much at home in the temperate waters of the UK, whether it’s a dive on a shallow reef or a deep wreck.
